Originally from Canada, I moved to the United States in 2003 and have since made Lancaster, PA, my home. My journey began over 25 years ago in television broadcasting, where I initially worked primarily with technical gear rather than people. It was during this time that I discovered a longing to connect more deeply with others. In my 20s, my personal journey involved deep self-reflection and seeking guidance from professionals alongside exploring art, dance, and music.
This ongoing journey of self-reflection continues to be a cornerstone of my growth, recognizing its importance in personal development shared by everyone. It inspired me to pursue a career in art therapy, where I could help others harness the power of creativity for healing and growth. With over 12 years of experience in psychotherapy and art therapy, supporting individuals through their personal journeys of self-discovery, healing, and growth, I bring a depth of understanding and expertise to my coaching practice that sets me apart.
For the past six years, I’ve focused on transitional life coaching with a creative approach, gently guiding clients through various life changes. Whether it’s adjusting to new life stages, navigating relationship changes, or seeking greater fulfillment, I strive to empower individuals to navigate these transitions with resilience, clarity, and renewal.
Outside of coaching, I stay connected to art as a way to learn, relax, and explore creatively. It brings me joy and rejuvenates me, nurturing both my personal growth and my coaching practice. I also treasure moments spent with family and friends, finding renewal through pilates, gardening, and taking leisurely walks.
My diverse work history includes roles such as Life Coach in private practice in Lancaster, PA, Psychotherapist/Art Therapist at mental health agencies, Expressive Art Therapist at a behavioral health hospital, Activity Director in retirement communities, and even a Painting Professor at a college in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Additionally, I’ve held positions as an Office and Event Manager at an Arts Council and in various roles at television stations across Ontario.
